Cancellation & Refund Policy
At SkillEdge, we are committed to providing our students with high-quality educational experiences, including pre-recorded courses, live cohorts, and professional memberships. We want you to be fully satisfied with your learning journey.
Please read our Cancellation and Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights regarding purchases made on the SkillEdge platform.
1. Pre-Recorded Courses
We offer a 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee for all self-paced, pre-recorded courses. If you are not satisfied with the course material, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date.
- Refund requests must be submitted within exactly 7 days (168 hours) from the time of purchase.
- Condition: To be eligible for a refund, you must have completed less than 20% of the course content. If you have watched more than 20% of the videos or downloaded course resources, the refund request will be denied to prevent abuse of our intellectual property.
2. Live Cohorts & Masterclasses
Live cohorts require significant planning and seat reservations. Therefore, our refund policy for live sessions is slightly stricter:
- Before Cohort Starts: You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund if you request it at least 48 hours before the official start date of the first live session.
- After Cohort Starts: Once the live cohort has officially commenced, no refunds will be issued, regardless of your attendance.
3. Subscriptions & Memberships
For our premium memberships (e.g., Basic Annual, Pro Plan, Elite Plan):
- Memberships are billed upfront for the selected billing cycle (e.g., annually).
- You may cancel your membership renewal at any time from your account settings.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscriptions. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to your membership benefits until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
4. 1-on-1 Consultations
If you book a 1-on-1 consultation or mentorship session with an instructor:
- You may reschedule or cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time.
- "No-shows" or cancellations within 24 hours of the meeting will not be refunded.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please email our support team at support@skilledge.ai (or your official support email) with the following details:
- Your full name and the email address used for the purchase.
- The name of the course, cohort, or membership.
- Your order/transaction ID.
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund (your feedback helps us improve!).
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (e.g., Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking via Razorpay). Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your financial institution.
